I'm currently in a very strange faze of my life at the moment. Having just graduated from university last month, and I'm about to be out of work. Having been working as a caricature artist of the season here in various theme parks, at the end of this month I will be out of a job until I can, if I want to, return to the caricature gig next March. Whilst I have enjoyed the job, it's not really what I want to be doing with my life. Plus the pay isn't all that.

So having graduated, with a high grade, and some great work; why am I finding it almost impossible to find a job? For the last say, 2 months I have been applying for job after job after job. Whether this is some freelancing gigs; doing album artwork, or some illustrations for a book.... I have also been applying for in house Illustrator jobs, and seeking representation by the various agencies out there.
Count it, NONE of these jobs have even replied to my applications. So what am I to do?

Keep trying.

So I know I uploaded the first two pages of my comic book over the last two days. But to be honest I dont think that the two pages reflected the quality of work that im going for with these. The pages were not laid out clear enough and I think that what I was trying to show in the panels ended up being a little in-coherent. So Im starting again. Working on the first pages now. And they are already looking alot better.

I also decided to change the story a little

Also the whole town being called Beatswood... To be honest I didnt really think it through and slowly realised it has kinda sexual connotations. Oops my bad

At the moment the new name of the town is Killwood. Might title the comic the same name but im not sure.

Anyway so for now I will call these pages tester pages. But are not part of the actual comic.

  

So ive started a new project. I really hope that I folow through with this one and get my story out there. I really want to get into comic art but I have no idea where to start...
